The
Casting Process 1) We'll have a chat about what we are going to do and how you would like to be posed for your casting. 2) The body part being cast has a coating of massage oil applied, this can be done by either yourself, partner, friend or myself. 3) Now we'll get you into your casting pose and I will mix up the alginate from this point on there is only 3 minutes before this sets so things start to move a little faster now. ![]() 4) With the alginate applied and set we now cover it with plaster of paris bandage this will keep the form of the alginate as without it the latex would just flop everywhere!!! ![]() 5) Once both the alginate and the plaster of paris has set, only then, can the cast be removed. ![]() 6) With the cast removed you can now get cleaned up (things can get messy) and I'll start prepping to make the finished cast. ![]() 7) I will phone you when the finished cast is ready for collection. ![]() ![]() Tadar!!!!!! |
